Full Job Description
As a Security Officer with ISS UK, you will play a key role in creating a safe and secure environment, protecting colleagues, patients, visitors, and our customer's property, people, and assets through professional security operations.
This role is responsible for delivering a high-quality security service to patients, staff, visitors, and contractors across hospital premises and car parks, in line with Security Industry Authority (SIA) guidelines, company procedures, and Trust specifications.
You will carry out a range of duties to support the delivery of an efficient and effective security service across both internal and external environments. The role also involves assisting visitors with general enquiries in a professional, approachable, and helpful manner, ensuring a positive experience for everyone visiting the hospital site.
The Role
Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
Prevent any unauthorised access
Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
Previous security experience
A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA licence
Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
A team player with good customer service skills, Disability Confident
