Security Officer

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trustare seeking mature, honest, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individuals, who are able to work in a team and as an individual on own initiative.You will be complimenting existing security teams across the University Hospital Trust. This will be predominantly based across the Princess Royal and the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Or on occasion may be required to perform duties within all premises in University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust., You will come into contact with difficult, aggressive and sometimes violent individuals as well as patients and visitors. You will be given formal training in Conflict management & Physical Intervention Techniques. A degree of physical and mental robustness is required.

In addition to the base rate of Pay, this role also attracts further enhancements of approximately £3000 to £4000 per year to account for night and weekend working.
