Security Guard

As a Security Guard on the TCS contract at MOD Oakhanger, you'll play a vital role in protecting a high-security site. Your work helps keep people, information and infrastructure safe - contributing to trust, security and positive impact every day.
This is a hands-on role where vigilance, care and professionalism matter. By maintaining site integrity and delivering a strong customer-focused service, you'll help ensure operations run safely, securely and without disruption - supporting a future we can all rely on.
What you'll do as a Security Guard

You'll be entrusted to:

- Act as a first line of defence in support of the TCS site mission
- Carry out foot and vehicle patrols, escort duties, and vehicle and bag searches
- Operate security systems including CCTV, intrusion detection systems and entry control
- Issue and receive keys and site passes, maintaining accurate records
- Complete reports and maintain the Daily Occurrence Log
- Work closely with colleagues and external agencies to uphold site security

A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence
- Current SC Security Clearance and the ability to meet US clearance requirements
- Experience working in a secure or government environment
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
- A full Manual UK driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles, Disability Confident
