Full Job Description
Provide high-quality, proactive administrative support to the line manager, working across two teams. The role requires strong organisation and judgement to prioritise competing demands, adapt to changing workloads and keep day-to-day activity running smoothly., 1. Supporting the smooth running of the business by administering rosters and timesheets accurately and on time. 2. Keeping systems, databases and records up to date and well-maintained, including opening and closing work orders as required. 3. Providing administrative support to the Assessment in the Line (AITL) process, helping ensure it is managed consistently and effectively. 4. Setting up and maintaining clear, efficient filing systems for the Section(s), with careful attention to confidentiality and the handling of safety-critical information. 5. Delivering a wide range of general office administration to support the Section Manager, using your skills and judgement to meet day-to-day needs. 6. - A flexible and calm approach when priorities change, · Experience in a clerical, administrative or office support role · Strong time-management skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively · Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records · A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and use initiative · Clear communication skills and a friendly, professional approach when working with others Desirable · An understanding of, or experience within, an operational railway environment
