Full Job Description
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students throughout their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students in lessons, both one-to-one and in small groups, to help them understand and engage with the curriculum
- Assisting with classroom management to maintain a positive, focused and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging students to build confidence, stay motivated, and reach their full potential
- Supporting the development of key academic, social and personal skills across a range of subjects
- Helping teachers with lesson preparation and general classroom support where needed
