Full Job Description
- Teach English across relevant key stages, planning and delivering high quality lessons
- Support the Head of Department in the strategic leadership of the English department
- Contribute to curriculum design, sequencing and assessment to raise standards and outcomes
- Support monitoring of teaching, learning and student progress within the department
- Help promote high expectations, consistent behaviour and positive attitudes to learning
Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised equivalent) - Strong subject knowledge in English
- Excellent classroom practice with high expectations for all learners
- Curriculum and assessment understanding across relevant key stages
- Data literacy: able to analyse progress and attainment to inform action

- 32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
