Job Description:

Seasonal Waste Collection Operatives (Twilight Rounds)
South Hams

We are looking for two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our seasonal waste collection team, supporting our Twilight waste collection rounds across South Hams towns and beaches.

These seasonal roles run during the busy summer months (June/July - September 2026) and offer a structured working pattern of Thursday to Sunday, 13:30 - 20:30. This provides a good level of flexibility while contributing to an essential public service. Your commitment and hard work will be rewarded with a generous completion bonus at the end of the contract.

This role is vital in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors, helping to preserve the natural beauty of the South Hams. You will work closely with the Waste Team and other Council departments to deliver a high-quality service and maintain excellent standards.

The role involves driving a waste cage vehicle in busy environments, so applicants must be comfortable working in these conditions.
