Full Job Description

and pedagogic leadership in Screen Actor training methods and associated production skills. The practitioner we seek is someone who works in line with sector-leading innovation in fostering inclusive, culturally-diverse, radically self-empowered, traumainformed approaches to Screen Acting that assist students to become artists in their own right. The successful candidate will be responsible for convening and teaching on the undergraduate Screen and Audio Acting module as well as MA Screen Acting, and to contribute to planning of courses involving mediatised screen work and productions. They will also provide academic/pastoral support to students on MA,

  • To convene the Screen and Audio Acting undergraduate module;
  • To teach on and jointly convene MA Screen Acting modules
  • To teach across practice courses involving any mediatised screen work and
  • productions;
  • To undertake and co-ordinate the marking and moderation of assessments, as
  • necessary;
  • To engage in scholarly activities to support and improve teaching;
  • To attend Staff meetings and committee meetings as required;
  • In addition, you will be required to undertake any other duties as may reasonably
  • be required. As with all roles of this type, you are expected to engage in regular Continuing Professional Development activities relating to your role, enabling you to grow and develop yourself and the role. Ring-fenced time for research and scholarship practice will be factored into your workload planning with your Line Manager. All staff are expected to carry out their duties in accordance with Goldsmiths Regulations, Policies and Procedures, and in line with our institutional values and strategy and objectives.
