Full Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated SCMS Operational Finance Coordinator to join our fantastic team. In this role you will provide an excellent customer/operational finance service to the SCMS Key Account clientele of Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd, working closely with team members, clients and suppliers ensuring that all operational finance responsibilities are managed efficiently and are 'right first time'.,
- Complete the weekly & monthly client billing processes which includes the accruing of all applicable supplier costs and the raising of all applicable invoicing to the client(s)
- Approve for payment or dispute with supplier invoices received
- Monitor accuracy and validity of client/supplier tariffs ensuring total accuracy of all information
- Support the weekly financial reporting which includes commenting on job file Profit & Loss, Profit movements & Aged Revenue for review and sign off by Team Leader and Manager
- Ensure the highest standards of customer experience is always met, assisting them with any queries in a timely manner
- Generate and maintain worksheets detailing operational finance data
- Ensure maintenance of systems with accurate and real-time data
Proven experience working in an administration and/or finance role is essential - Previous experience in logistics and/or freight forwarding environments is desirable, but not essential (training will be provided)
- Proactive and flexible approach, with ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Basic IT; Microsoft Office, In-house systems

This role will be based at our Northampton GP3 Site (NN4 5FB). The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30. The role offers a salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (DOE) with the opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week, with 2 days in the office (subject to business requirements)., - 25 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays) and 5 days Volunteer Leave per year
