Full Job Description
The Science Department at Pate's is dedicated to fostering curiosity, innovation and an environment
where students are encouraged to explore the wonders of science.
Our team of Science Technicians play an integral role in supporting our students and working with our teachers to enable them to deliver high quality, engaging teaching, in our excellent purpose-built facilities.
As a Science Technician at Pate's, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our Science Department, predominantly working with our Chemistry team, however with flexibility to support other teams as required.
A large part of the role will focus on our Key Stage 4 and 5 students, however will support the whole school provision.
Your organised and proactive approach to your work will support in providing an enriching education experience for our students, playing a crucial role in the organising of practical lessons from ensuring the correct materials are available and ready on time, areas are clean, tidy, and organised, equipment is maintained and stock levels managed.
Your ability to work on your own and as part of a team, along with your attention to detail and ability to problem solve will support you in this role.
As this role has a chemistry focus, knowledge of or a background in chemistry is desirable but not essential.
