We are now seeking an inspiring Teacher of Biology to help us continue this exciting journey.The Role We are looking for a passionate educator who can bring Biology alive for learners across Key Stages 3-5. In this role, you will:
- Teach Biology up to KS5, inspiring students through engaging explanations, practical work and real-world connections.
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to challenge themselves and explore ideas.
- Plan, teach and assess learning in line with school policies, keeping accurate records of progress and achievement.
- Use effective feedback and target-setting to stretch learners and help them meet (and exceed!) their potential.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop curriculum, share resources and strengthen the wider Science Faculty.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and families, promoting high expectations and open communication.

- A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong track record of excellent teaching, ideally including KS5 experience
- The ability to motivate, challenge and support learners of all abilities
- Strong communication, organisation and resilience
- A warm, empathetic approach and a belief that every student can achieve
- Confident use of ICT for teaching, assessment and organisation
