Science Teacher

Ashley Park School is a unique and nurturing educational community operating across two sites in Walton and Epsom. We provide personalised, high-quality education for children and young people aged 5-19. This role is based at our Epsom site, supporting students predominantly within the 11-19 age range.,

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Science lessons for individuals and small groups up to GCSE level
• Contribute to nurture-based programmes that support students' social, emotional and academic development
• Monitor, record and report on student progress, ensuring personalised learning pathways
• Develop, implement and review Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans
• Create a safe, stimulating and well-organised classroom environment with appropriate resources
• Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and multi-professional colleagues
• Support students in developing self-regulation, independence and positive behaviour
• Contribute to whole-school development, safeguarding practice and the wider School Development Plan

• Ability to teach Science up to GCSE
• Has experience working with young people who present with additional needs or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential)

• Can adapt teaching to meet individual needs and ensure meaningful progression
