Science and Curriculum Technicians' Manager

West Lakes Academy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised individual to join our support staff team as Science and Curriculum Technicians' Manager. This is a key role within the academy, responsible for leading and managing the technician team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality curriculum support across departments.

• Have experience of working as a technician within a school or similar educational environment.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills.
• Have a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements, including CLEAPSS and COSHH guidance.
• Be capable of managing resources, equipment and budgets effectively.
• Have excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills.
• Be able to provide specialist technical advice and support to colleagues.
• Establish positive working relationships with staff and students.
• Be proactive, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards across all areas of responsibility.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement and best practice.
