Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Minibus driver to join The Meadows School. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide safe and efficient driving for students. As a driver, you will operate student transportation during the school day for offsite visits. Duties will include:
- Transporting students with SEN to educational visits and transport related activities
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks, cleaning and general maintenance of the school minibuses
Experience of minibus driving - a clean, full UK driving licence
- Hold a D1 licence
- Be willing to complete MIDAS minibus training qualification and medical check
- Have a good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Be dedicated and hardworking

The Meadows School is an extended Sixth Form Day School. We provide education for students from the ages of 9 to 19 across the local authority. We cater for 215 students who have severe and complex special educational needs; many also have additional physical, medical and communication difficulties, including autism.
