About this Role

School Development Officer

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced School Development Officer to lead the development of new income streams and strategic partnerships for the School. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, income generation, grant applications and/or corporate partnerships and will be confident building relationships with senior stakeholders, businesses, donors and the wider community or alternatively proven project management experience and the associated transferable skills set.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the School Development Officer will be a proactive and target-driven individual with a hands-on and engaging approach. They will be a strong communicator, building effective relationships to develop a clear understanding of funding needs. Using this insight, they will identify and pursue opportunities to secure income, demonstrating the confidence, initiative and practical skills needed to turn opportunities into results.

The role is offered with flexibility around working hours. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates seeking a 0.6 FTE position, although full-time and other flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Tours of the school are welcome.
