School Crossing Patrol - Longhoughton

The role of School Crossing Patrol is a valuable and rewarding role, working for usually up to an hour in the morning (8 - 9am) and up to an hour in the afternoon (3 - 4pm) in term time only. This vacancy is based in the village of Longhoughton. The basic duties include the safe passage of children and adults across roads at school time and the applicant must be able to follow straightforward instructions and to work outdoors all year round. Successful applicants will receive full training and uniform. Full training will be provided by the county road safety officer.

• Ability to follow straightforward oral and written instructions and to keep basic work records.
• Ability to work outdoors all year round.
