School Counsellor

Oundle School is seeking a qualified School Counsellor who will provide therapeutic support to pupils throughout the School.

The Role

Working within the Emotional Wellbeing team, the School Counsellor provides confidential and therapeutic support to pupils through Oundle School and Laxton Junior School. The role will require you to support pupils with a range of needs, from lower level (e.g. homesickness) to higher level (e.g. self-harming behaviours), and make targeted interventions into year groups should the need arise.

You will report to the Mental Health Lead.

Hours: 20 hours per week.

Weeks: 33 working weeks per annum; your holiday entitlement is added to your contractual working weeks, meaning you are paid for 37.63 weeks per year.

Salary: £16,113 pro rata (£44,539 FTE).
