Full Job Description
We're looking for a School Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules. Hourly Rate of Pay: £ 13.85Position Type: PermanentEmployment Type: Full TimeTotal Weekly Contractual Hours: 40 hours Shift Pattern: 6.00am - 2.30pm / 12.30pm - 9.00pm (2 x early - 1 late)Location: Wooldale Centre for Learning, Wooldale Road, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England NN4 6TP
Role Responsibilities:
-Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policy
-Ensure maintenance is completed in a timely manner and the security and safety of the school premises and grounds are observed at all times.
-Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
-Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use if required.
Previous caretaking experience (preferred but not essential).
-Reliability is critical to this role
-Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Open, honest, self-driven, and determined.
-Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
