School Caretaker

We're looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our friendly Site Team. This is far more than a maintenance role - you'll be a key member of our school community, helping to ensure our pupils and staff enjoy a safe, secure and welcoming environment every day.

Working alongside our Lead Caretaker, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep of our school, supporting everything from planned maintenance and compliance checks to school events, contractor management and site security.

What you'll be doing

You'll play an important role in keeping the school operating smoothly by:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the school.

Ensuring the site is safe, secure and ready each day for pupils and staff.

Maintaining our grounds and external areas to a high standard.

Driving the school minibus for educational visits and school activities when required.

Helping with the practical side of school events and daily operations.

Interview Dates: Interviews will be arranged on a rolling basis as suitable applications are received.

Salary: up to £27,876 (35 hours per week)
