Full Job Description

Dingle Community Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly organised, strategic and proactive School Business Manager to join our dedicated team. This is a pivotal role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the effective leadership and management of the school's financial, operational and administrative functions. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead on financial planning, budget management and resource allocation.
  • Oversee administration, HR processes, compliance and operational systems.
  • Support the management and development of the school site, premises and health & safety procedures.
  • Contribute strategically to school improvement and organisational effectiveness.
  • Promote high standards of professionalism, efficiency and customer service across the school community.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, governors, families, external agencies and the Local Authority.

    Has strong financial and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Has experience of operational management within a school or similar environment.
  • Is able to manage competing priorities effectively whilst maintaining high standards.
