The business function is valued as essential to supporting teaching and learning., As School Business Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, premises and wider school operations. Responsibilities typically include:

• Budgeting, forecasting, monitoring spend and reporting
• Procurement and contract management to ensure value for money
• Overseeing office systems and operational efficiency
• Supporting HR administration processes and staffing structures
• Managing premises, health & safety and compliance
• Ensuring policies, procedures and records are up to date and audit-ready
• Line managing support staff and maintaining high service standards
  
  Proven experience in school business management or senior finance/operations leadership
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, procurement, compliance and operational planning
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Confidence line-managing staff and developing clear routines
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional standards
