Full Job Description

We have a vacancy for a Scheme Manager who will join a team of 12 Scheme Managers reporting to a Housing Officer who works remotely. The purpose of the role is to encourage residents to maintain their wellbeing and independence and support delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing management services., This post combines two part-time Scheme Manager roles to provide a total of 27 hours per week delivered across two schemes: 10 hours at Laurel Court and 17 hours at The Grove. However, applications are also welcome from candidates who are seeking fewer hours, as the role can be split across the two schemes. The role of Scheme Manager will include:

  • Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence
  • Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
  • Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion
  • Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
  • Maintaining accurate records about residents and the scheme
  • Covering other schemes as and when required

    Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
  • Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

  • Role salary is £19,018 (rising to £19,607 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
  • The full time equivalent salary for this role is £26,415 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £27,232 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
