Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join the North West Independent Living Team as we bring a brand new Scheme onboard. In this role you will act as the driving force on our customer journey creating a seamless and welcoming experience from first contact to settling into our new vibrant community in South Manchester. The role of Scheme Manager will include:
- Promote resident involvement and provide information on local community services and agencies
- Encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence through the effective delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing support services
- Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities to ensure clean and safe homes for the Group's customers
- Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, service providers including contractors and residents
- Coordinate the delivery of local services to ensure the scheme(s) are maintained and kept clean and secure, in accordance with Group standards and lease obligations, We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working. A basic Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application which we will pay for. Sanctuary Housing Association, an exempt charity.
- Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Strong Interpersonal and organisational Skills with fantastic attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums including face to face, written and digital
- Empathetic with a customer focus
- Ability to build strong communities through customer stakeholder and partnership engagement
- Previous experience dealing with conflict resolution
