Scaffolder's Mate / Labourer

Join AO's New Solar Installation Team We're looking for experienced Scaffolder's Mates to support our Scaffolders as we launch our residential solar operation. You'll be part of a two-man crew delivering domestic scaffolding solutions that allow our Solar Installers to work safely on customer homes. You'll need previous scaffolding experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to work safely as part of a team. We'll provide all tools, equipment and ongoing support to help you develop your career.Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Assisting with the erection, alteration and dismantling of domestic scaffolding.
• Passing materials and supporting scaffold builds safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading scaffold equipment.
• Maintaining vehicles, equipment and storage areas.
• Carrying out manual handling duties.
• Supporting site set up and safety checks.
• Working at occupied residential properties and representing AO professionally.
• Following instructions from Scaffolders, Supervisors and Managers.
• Ensuring work areas are left safe, tidy and secure.
  
  CISRS Scaffolder Blue Card.
• Proven scaffolding experience.
• Experience erecting and dismantling domestic scaffolds.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and working at height.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
• Positive attitude and strong team ethic.
