Sales & Marketing Manager - The Side Hustle (Sports Bar)

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll own that. Driving footfall, building brand presence, and ensuring the venue is consistently busy, culturally connected, and front of mind. This is a role for someone who is both creative and commercial - someone who doesn't wait for the crowd but builds it. What you'll be doing Driving revenue and bookings

• Driving bookings, pre-sales, and event revenue across the venue
• Maximising covers and spend across key trading periods
• Growing pre-booked business and group sales
• Supporting delivery of site revenue targets through proactive sales activity
Leading local marketing and brand activation
• Planning and executing local marketing aligned with brand strategy
• Ensuring the venue is visible and relevant within the local area
• Activating key sporting, cultural, and seasonal moments
• Working with the GM to create weekly "reasons to visit"
Owning social media and content
• Managing venue-level social media channels
• Creating engaging, on-brand, and reactive content
• Capturing in-venue moments that translate into shareable content
• Maintaining a strong and consistent online presence
Building events and partnerships
• Supporting development and promotion of in-venue events
• Building relationships with local businesses and communities
• Identifying partnership opportunities that drive traffic
• Supporting influencer and PR activity where relevant
Driving guest engagement and retention
• Building and maintaining a strong guest database
• Driving repeat visits through targeted communications and offers
• Ensuring guest data is captured and used effectively
• Supporting CRM activity in line with central strategy
Tracking performance and insight
• Monitoring bookings, campaign performance, and ROI
• Using data to refine activity and improve results
• Tracking competitor activity and local market trends
• Continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance

Experience
• Experience in a sales, marketing, or events role within hospitality or a similar environment
• Proven ability to drive bookings, footfall, or revenue
• Experience managing social media and local marketing activity
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
