Full Job Description

  • Sell exhibition stands and sponsorships, ensuring sales targets are met
  • Work with the Event Director or Show Manager to deliver the campaign strategy, ensuring show targets are met and exceeded, including overall exhibitor numbers, exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield and sponsorship revenues, and opportunities that match client needs
  • Deliver on personal sales targets across events
  • Proactively deliver the show strategy across new and existing business
  • Create detailed written proposals and send them to clients promptly
  • Identify key new business clients and sales targets within the prospect universe
  • Get close to the market, understand its trends, and develop your sales pitch accordingly
  • Foster positive, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients, associations, suppliers and, where appropriate, contractors, media and commercial partners

    We are looking for a driven and personable Sales Manager to join the team behind the Occupational Therapy Show. You will take ownership of exhibition stand and sponsorship sales, building strong relationships with clients and partners while consistently delivering against personal and show level targets.,
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within fast-paced environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • A high degree of self-motivation, not easily deterred
