Full Job Description

As an Associate Partner, you will leverage your expertise to develop new business opportunities and lead client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery. You will utilize your deep knowledge of complex services engagements to solve business problems in the client's industry. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, creatively participating in the development of solutions that meet client needs and support business objectives within your area of practice. Establish Trusted Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships with clients through your ability to articulate solutions and establish strong relationships with other areas of IBM used in the delivery of complex services. Contribute to Intellectual Capital: Contribute to the growth of intellectual capital within your practice area and support the development of other consultants through
  • participation in mentoring or coaching activities.
  • Develop Proposals and Contracts: Draft and review responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM statements of work, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements for your area of practice. Drive Business Growth: Provide strong assistance to IBM in winning new business, leveraging your expertise to win client trust and confidence
  • Required technical and professional expertise
  • Proven Experience in Complex Services Engagements: Deep expertise in developing new business opportunities, leading to client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery, with a demonstrated expert knowledge of the appropriate methods and skills needed to solve business problems in the client's industry. Expert Knowledge of Contractual Requirements: Familiarity with the contractual requirements for their area of practice, with the ability to draft and review responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM statements of work. Established Track Record in Business Development: Experience in identifying new business opportunities, creatively participating in the development of solutions, and providing strong assistance to IBM in the winning of that business. Industry-Specific Expertise: Deep understanding of the client's industry, with the ability to articulate solutions and establish strong
  • relationships with other areas of IBM used in the delivery of complex services.
  • Leadership in Intellectual Capital Growth: Experience in contributing to the growth of intellectual capital within their practice area and supporting the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities.
