Sales Assistants

We are opening a new store in High Wycombe at Eden Centre, High Wycombe HP11 2AU on 29th October 2026, and will be holding a Recruitment Day on 22nd September 2026. Rates of pay: Under 21: £11.00 per hour, 21 and over: £12.90 per hour Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
  
  Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:
• Outdoor/Bikes
• Nursery

Smyths Toys is one of the world's largest specialty retailers of children's toys. We operate both online, and via our physical retail stores, with hundreds of stores spread across Europe and the UK. We source our product range from an extensive array of UK, European, and international suppliers.

As you will be joining one of our new stores, you will be expected to work increased hours in order to complete your training prior to your official store opening. Initially, you will be hired on a temporary basis to give you the opportunity to see if you enjoy this fast paced world of retail. Benefits
