Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant based in our Northampton branch you'll be responsible for:
Driving 3.5t van for branch deliveries and collections to local customers
Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse
This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 6:30am - 3:30pm and one Saturday per month, 08:00 - 12.00pm (paid as overtime) once trained.

Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial
Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position
Confident with Van driving
Great communication skills and a customer-first approach
Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch
