Full Job Description

Main Responsibilities Provide high-quality primary care services to registered and temporary patients Conduct 28 consultations per day (face-to-face and telephone) Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Prescribe in line with the practice formulary Support disease prevention and long-term condition management Offer leadership and clinical input to the wider team Mentor or support junior staff, Physicians Associates and medical students from Swansea University. Benefit from streamlined workflow admin responsible only for your own test results and letters Minimal medication queries handled by the pharmacy team Home visits required very occasionally, when Advanced Paramedic Practitioner is unavailable Attend Clinical meetings Promote QI projects Areas of Specialist Interest (Desirable but Not Essential) We welcome candidates with, or willing to develop, special interests in the following areas: Minor Surgery Joint Injections Becoming a GP Trainer for Registrars Participating in GMS
Collaborative Cluster meetings We offer support and development opportunities for GPs looking to expand in these areas.
