Salaried GP (ARRs)

This is a position for a newly qualified, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking GP to join the Calder & Ryburn PCN, Calderdale within West Yorkshire., At Pennine GP Alliance, we are committed to fair, transparent, and person-led recruitment. You will undertake several duties governed by the GMS contract including:

• You will manage a caseload and work autonomously on a day-to-day basis. To support your development, you will have a dedicated GP assigned to carry out professional supervision.
• Face to face and telephone consultations.
• Patient home visits and care home visits.
• Checking and signing repeat prescriptions.
• Administrative tasks namely dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence as required.
• Cover all clinical management of in-surgery patients as appropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results and make referrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriate.
• Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients.

This post will require you to work across different practices within the PCN all of which are rated as Good with CQC. This presents a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and insight of the workings and culture within different practices. We are a Sponsor Organisation for the employment of Skilled Workers. A training budget of £3,000 will be invested in your development during this contract. We will work with you to tailor a package of training support and study leave that will give you the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding to thrive in these early years of your career. Between 4 and 8 sessions per week (full time/part time please state the number of sessions as a preference in your application).
