Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team at The Beeches Medical Practice in Shrewsbury from 1st April 2027. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed General Practitioner to work 8 sessions a week. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while contributing to the ongoing development of our progressive training practice., We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and compassionate GP to contribute to the ongoing success of our practice. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing comprehensive medical services to our registered patient population while delivering the highest standards of clinical care. The post holder will:
- Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical care.
- Adhere to GMC standards of Good Medical Practice.
- Contribute to the effective management and development of the practice.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.
- Support a positive, inclusive, and patient-focused culture.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development activities as appropriate.
The Beeches Medical Practice is a welcoming and forward-thinking four-partner training practice serving approximately 7,200 patients across Shrewsbury and the surrounding rural communities. We operate from two well-established sites in Bayston Hill and Dorrington.
Our dedicated multidisciplinary team includes: - 4 GP Partners
- 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- 2 Practice Nurses
- 1 Healthcare Assistant
- 1 Phlebotomist
- Practice Management and Operational Leadership Team
- Data Quality Manager
- A skilled team of administrators, dispensers, and reception staff We are proud to be a training practice and actively support the development of future healthcare professionals, including GP Registrars and Medical Students. Our team is committed to providing a supportive learning environment that encourages professional growth and clinical excellence. We utilise EMIS WEB, together with Anima and GP Teamnet, to support efficient and effective patient care and modern ways of working.
