Salaried GP

We are a high QOF achieving practice and pride ourselves on working collaboratively to support all team members., We are looking for a salaried GP on a fixed term contract to cover 6 sessions a week. This is to commence as soon as possible to cover maternity leave,

• The Salaried GP will play an integral role in ensuring and integrated and focused healthcare provision relevant to the differing needs of the patient population.
• The Salaried GP will be part a multi-disciplinary team providing a full range of general medical services to patient groups
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Clinical Responsibilities
• In accordance with Practice timetable, as agreed, the post holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties F2F, telephone consults and queries along with paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.
• Offer and carry out consultations and where appropriate, physical examinations for the purposes of identifying and reducing the risk of illness, disease or injury.
• To arrange referrals of patients, as appropriate for the provision of any other services as appropriate.
• To deliver any enhanced services that the practice has contracted to deliver.
• To deliver a service to patients within our triage system, using our E-Consult platform.
• Speciality of women's health is desirable.
Other Duties
• Attend Clinical Huddles and meetings within the practice setting where appropriate.
• Awareness of and compliance with all relevant Practice Policies, eg, Prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and Safety etc.
  
  You will need to have the skills to resolve and manage issues as they arise and be able to prioritise your workload, be flexible for the needs of the business and able to consider business constraints and service user needs. You will also need to have a consistent and compassionate approach with our service users at all times and an interest in woman's health.
Liaising with patients and colleagues is a key part of the role so you must have an excellent telephone manner and good communication skills, be reliable, trustworthy, and have a caring and empathetic manner. Good IT skills and experience are essential.,
