Salaried GP

As a GP Practice which is part of Northumbria Primary Care, we work with flexibility and independence to run the surgery based on what is best for our patients and staff, and additionally we have the regular and consistent support of the management team to help us to focus on what is clinically important. As a Salaried GP the post holder will be a key clinician within the team. A job plan will be agreed with you to provide general medical services and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.

NPC Felton and Widdrington are looking for a 2 session Salaried GP to work part time and join our practice working across both sites. The succesful candidate will be expected to work a Tuesday. Join our experienced, friendly and supportive team at Felton & Widdrington. We are a well-established training practice serving a semi-rural population of 4500 over our Felton & Widdrington sites. Our Widdrington site was refurbished in November 2024 and our Felton site is due to begin renovation work in November 2025 with an aimed completion date of Spring 2026. What We Offer:

Felton is a beautiful rural village in Northumberland with the added bonus of being close to a Running Fox caf !, Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC) is a pioneering partnership with local GPs and now manages several GP practices with around 120,000 registered patients in Northumberland and North Tyneside.
Whilst appointees will have a base practice within NPC,they may be asked to work at other practices across our group. We do however limit this as much as possible as we appreciate continuity is vital to effective primary care. Please note that NPC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Depending on experience Locally Agreed NPC GP Pay Rates: £11,399 - £14,598 pps/pa
