Full Job Description

We welcome insights and ideas from incoming colleagues and look forward to receiving your application!, The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner using the standards expected by the GMC and RCGP in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines. Professional conduct that encourages quality practice and the development of team spirit.
- Sessions including F2F and telephone appts
- Patient triage
- Admin filing of bloods/letters - Timely assessment of incoming electronic and paper correspondence relating to patient information as required. Using the appropriate electronic systems.
- Supportive and collaborative team-working and participation in regular meetings.
- Home visits.
- Adhere to the practice prescribing formulary, local and national guidelines.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
- Record clear and contemporaneous I.T. based notes to agreed standards in patient records., We are looking for a Salaried GP to become a key member of the Practice team., 2. Commitment in providing high quality Primary Care to patients along with a genuine interest in the future development of General Practice. 3. We are flexible with the number of sessions required and are happy to discuss this. 4. + Sessions - F2F and telephone patient appointments. + Patient triage + Admin filing of bloods/letters - Timely assessment of incoming electronic and paper correspondence relating to patient information as required. Using the appropriate electronic systems. 5. Newly qualified GPs are welcome to apply as they will be joining a supportive team in a practice with some supervision provided if required. - Elm Tree Surgery is a popular, high performing training practice with a growing patient list size of 18.5 k situated in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees. You will be joining a team of 5 GP partners, 6 Salaried GPs, ACPs, Paramedics, a Clinical Pharmacist and a team of Practice Nurses and HCAs, who are supported by Management and the Admin/Reception Team. We are a friendly practice, offering a supportive and collaborative team environment, where we encourage learning, development, and personal growth. Elm Tree Surgery is an active member of Stockton PCN. We are a SystmOne Practice.
- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General
- Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist
- Medical Practice Order 2003
- Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983
- Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of
- Training CCT)
- Currently on NHS Performers list and not suspended from that list or
- from the medical register
- DBS clearance
- Evidence of time-relevant revalidation/appraisal cycle, Essential
- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General
- Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist
- Medical Practice Order 2003
