Full Job Description
We are looking for a Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions a week, working in both Priory Medical Group and our PCN evening Extended Access service., The Salaried GP is responsible for providing medical care and services to the practice population, managing a clinical caseload and dealing with a diverse range of health needs.
This will include, but is not limited to, surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, administration, complying with the practices contracts (GMS/PMS/enhanced services), and the education and training of junior/trainee clinical staff.

13 appointments per session

We are a friendly and well organised practice, with an increasing patient list of 15,500 patients, operating over three primary sites; North Shields, Hadrian Park and Tynemouth. Along with our fellow PCN practices, we also manage our Extended Access service, which is delivered from Shields Health Hub.
We are a large teaching practice, hosting GP Registrars, F2 Doctors, and medical and nursing students.
Our clinical team comprises; 7 GP Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, a Physician Associate, a Paramedic, a Trainee Advanced Practitioner, 5 Practice Nurses, 7 HCA's, a GP Assistant, 4 Pharmacists, and 5 Pharmacy Technicians.
The Practice also hosts a FCP, a Mental Health Practitioner, and a Social Prescribing Link Worker.
