Salaried GP

Blossom Health Gosport is looking to recruit a salaried GP to cover 4-8 sessions per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly forward-thinking practice in Gosport. Located on the ground floor of Gosport War Memorial Hospital and with a rapidly expanding practice list size of 5975 patients our current practice team is made up of 2 Salaried GPs, 2 prescribing ANPs, a practice nurse, respiratory nurse, diabetic nurse, an advanced HCA and a Phlebotomist all supported by our friendly reception and admin teams.,

• You will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care., To provide excellent patient care
• The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
• Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes.
• Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
• Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary or generically whenever this is clinically appropriate.
  
  Qualified GP
• MRCGP
• Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
• General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
• Full GMC Registration
• Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
• National Performers List registration
• Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU)
  
  We have an excellent working relationship with our neighbouring practices via our PCN with access to Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians, First Contact Practitioners, Health and Well Being Coaches and Social Prescribers.
