Location: Kingswinford and Kinver with sites in both urban and rural settings Position: Salaried General Practitioner Sessions: 4-6 Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience Start Date: Flexible What Were Looking For:

- Full driving licence, + To undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations. Accurx consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Be part of the on call rota. + Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation, using current clinical guidelines, NICE/health pathways guidance + Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems + Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness + In consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols, developing care plans for health + Providing counselling and health education + Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate + Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards + Collecting data for audit purposes + Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible) + Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate + Attendance at Clinical and Salaried GP meetings,
- In accordance with the Practice rota, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations. Experience of working in a primary care environment - Experience of continued professional development, Minimum of two years as a salaried GP
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit
- Experience of medicines management
- General understanding of the GMS contract, Qualified GP - MBBS (or equivalent)
- MRCGP
- General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
- Full GMC Registration
- National Performers List registration
- Eligibility to practice in the UK independently, Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Effective time management
