Full Job Description
This role provides proactive and efficient administrative support to the Safeguarding Team. The post holder will be expected to work independently, using their own initiative to plan, prioritise, and manage a variety of tasks to meet deadlines effectively.,
- To co-ordinate and provide a full range of administrative support to the Corporate Safeguarding Team.
- To utilise a range of computer packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook email and the internet as well as in-house systems as required.
- To communicate administrative information to a wide range of health service and internal and external staff, liaising effectively with partner agencies such as Police, social services and education as appropriate.
- To successfully use/manage electronic mail for self and Corporate Safeguarding Team as appropriate, setting up new files on systems as and when necessary
- To arrange meetings, liaising with professionals and their support staff from within the local health and partner agencies, booking venues and arranging refreshments as required.
- Manage communications (post, telephone calls and e-mails) into the Corporate Safeguarding Team, bringing urgent business to the attention of the specialist nursing and midwifery team members.
- To carry out routine clerical tasks including photocopying and filing of all information, settling up new systems as necessary.
- To manage the systems and databases required to collate data for the Corporate Safeguarding Team. To participate in producing the statistics collected into quarterly and annual reports.
- Management of multiple email inboxes.
