Job Details

• A £120,000 investment is planned to transform the Chequers Inn into a great community local. What would you do with this pub to make it a success?

• The Area: Located in the heart of Chilwell, a suburban area in Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire, this pub is surrounded by a strong local customer base. With 4,301 adults within a 10-minute walk, it sits in a medium to high affluence area with independent shops and a strong community spirit. Just five miles from Nottingham city centre, it's perfectly placed to attract locals, students, and families.

• The Offer: The pub is available on our investment tenancy agreement. Following a full refurbishment, this venue will be transformed into a vibrant community pub with a strong wet-led focus. The improved design will feature a welcoming bar, social spaces, and pub games zones with darts and pool. Live sports, including Sky Sports and TNT, will attract match-day crowds, while quiz nights, bingo, live music, and more will create a lively rhythm of the week. The drinks range will include lagers, premium beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks, complemented by a simple cold back-bar food offer and a basic coffee selection. We're always open to new ideas, what would you do to drive trade?

• Attitude is more valuable than experience. If you've got the following, we'd love to hear from you:

  • Understanding of the local community

  • You know what it takes to build a successful business

  • You love hospitality and are great with customers

• If this sounds like the incredible pub opportunity you've been waiting for, apply today and tell us what you can bring to this pub's next chapter…
