Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare or working on the Staff Bank within these organisations. Nursing and AHP vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses/AHPs.
Our Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service provides specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with progressive and non-progressive neurological conditions. Our multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, dietitians, nurses, rehabilitation assistants and administrators work together to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
We support people affected by stroke, traumatic brain injury, MS, Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease, including those transitioning from hospital and those living with long-term neurological conditions in the community.
Care is delivered in the most appropriate setting, including patients' homes, outpatient clinics and community venues. We also provide therapy groups such as balance, exercise and fatigue management programmes. Working closely with neuropsychology services, social care, acute hospitals and organisations including the MS Society and Parkinson's UK, we deliver holistic, person-centred rehabilitation., Are you looking to accelerate your development as a physiotherapist while gaining experience across a variety of clinical specialities?
