More detail about the role The role will require you to: Work in various sections of the pharmacy department undertaking technician duties on a rotational basis, (Dispensary, Aseptic services, Procurement) whilst demonstrating professional attitudes and behaviours in line with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Standards for Pharmacy Professionals. The post will be rotational, and involve the successful candidate working in our Dispensary, the Aseptic unit and other areas such as Procurement. Prior hospital experience is desirable but not essential. Successful candidates will be given full training and development in order to fulfil specialist duties for this post. (Including participation in accreditation schemes if applicable) Duties will include: Labelling, dispensing and final accuracy checking of prescriptions Receiving and Issuing prescriptions Assist with the day to day supervision
