Rotational Pharmacy Technician

The main duties of the role include:

• + To line manage and supervise the Assistant Technical Officers + To support the production, training and implementation of SOPs. + To undertake specialist rotational placements in the Medicines Packing Unit, Medicines Governance and Integrated Urgent Care/111 (IUC/111). + To maintain a high standard of clinical work and pharmaceutically check and release packed drugs packs. + To order, receipt, dispense and check controlled drugs. + To work closely with the IUC lead pharmacist, Trust Medication Safety Officer, chief pharmacy technician and production manager. + Travel is required to other LAS Trust sites as necessary for meetings and audit work. + To train and assess medicines support staff
