An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rotational Patient Pathway Administrator in Specialist Surgery within the NOTSSCaN Division.
This is a rotational role, meaning the post holder will work across a variety of services within Specialist Surgery, depending on operational need.
This ensures service continuity and provides broad experience across the division. Flexibility is essential, as duties and locations may vary to maintain service cover between 08:00 and 17:00., The post holder will need to have a strong administrative skill that underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and can make a real difference to the patient experience. The post involves providing full secretarial and administrative support to Consultants, their teams and patients including typing of correspondence, dealing with telephone enquiries, managing outpatient clinics and diagnostic waiting times and taking responsibility for managing the whole patient pathway in line with the Elective Access policy., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

This position requires the demonstration of strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt and work on your own initiative. This is a rotational role which will enable the successful candidate to rotate within the different Departments within Specialist Surgery, giving them a wide range of knowledge of the division.
