Rotational Occupational Therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy Team at East Cheshire NHS Trust on a fixed term temporary basis., To rotate through a wide range of rotations including medical, surgical, orthopaedics, rheumatology, OPAL, and hands on a 4 monthly basis.

Occupational Therapist to undertake assessment of patients with a wide range of conditions and to work as autonomous clinicians, under the guidance of Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapists as required, using accurate analytical skills and clinical reasoning to interpret assessment findings, making diagnoses where appropriate, identifying patient problems, setting goals, and providing an appropriate treatment plan and progression.

We welcome applications from Graduate visa holders; it is important to note that you must have a minimum of 6 months before this expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons., Please be aware that this post requires an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check with barred lists, the cost of which is payable by the successful candidate. If you have lived or worked abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years you will need to obtain an overseas police clearance. About the service:

The East Cheshire Occupational Therapy Service delivers care in a variety of settings, including acute hospitals, rehabilitation centres and community clinics.

On joining the 4 monthly rotations you will be covering a wide range of interesting and stimulating posts in clinical areas, including rotations in Orthopaedics, Hand therapy Outpatients, Rheumatology, Surgery, Medicine and OPAL.

Hours per week: 37.5 - Full and Part time, Job Share and Flexible Working application considered.

This is a fixed-term temporary post until until May 2027.
