Room Leader

We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery in Pinner. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Early Years professional looking to take responsibility for a room and lead a team whilst maintaining high standards of care, learning and development.
This is a full-time position offering a salary of up to 31,000 and would suit a Level 3 qualified Early Years professional with the confidence and experience to lead and manage a nursery room effectively.
You will be:

Taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of the nursery room

Leading, supporting and motivating the room team
+
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
+
Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children
+
Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing
+
Acting as a key person and building positive relationships with children and their families
+
Completing observations and assessments to monitor and support children's progress
+
Supporting colleagues with their practice and promoting effective teamwork
+
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice, Working closely with the management team to support the smooth running and continued development of the nursery

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have strong previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting. You will have the confidence to lead and manage a room, support colleagues and maintain high standards of practice. A strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development is essential, alongside excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
