Full Job Description
- Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
- Support and develop team members to deliver outstanding practice
- Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences in line with EYFS and Montessori-inspired approaches
- Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Monitor children's development and support positive outcomes
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards are consistently maintained
- Contribute to the continued success of the nursery and wider organisation
This role is ideal for an experienced early Room Leader who enjoys leading a team, creating inspiring learning environments, and delivering exceptional care and education. We're looking for someone who holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification and has previous experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a Room Leader role. The successful candidate will be confident supporting colleagues, have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, and be committed to providing outstanding learning experiences that help children thrive. What We're Looking For - Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of Montessori approaches and child-led learning (desirable)
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
