Full Job Description

This role offers the chance to take the lead within your room, creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children can learn, explore, and develop confidence through play-based experiences. You'll work closely with a supportive management team while mentoring colleagues and helping to maintain the high standards of care and education throughout the nursery., This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner, Senior Practitioner, or existing Room Leader looking to further their leadership career within a nursery that genuinely invests in its people.,

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support, mentor, and develop practitioners within the room
  • Plan and oversee engaging activities that support children's learning and development
  • Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Promote high standards of practice across the room
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
  • All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience as a
  • Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience supporting and mentoring team members
  • A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare
