Full Job Description
As Room Leader, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your room, guiding practitioners and ensuring children experience consistent, high-quality care and learning. You'll spend most of your time in the room with the team, supporting practice, maintaining routines, and ensuring the environment reflects EYFS standards.,
- This role requires recent experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner.
- Applicants must be confident supporting colleagues and maintaining EYFS practice standards.
- This position is not suitable for candidates without a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification., Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room
- Support and guide practitioners to maintain consistent EYFS practice
- Ensure care routines, activities, and observations are completed to a high standard
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment for children
- Work closely with colleagues and nursery leadership to maintain ratios and daily routines
- Communicate with parents and carers about children's development and wellbeing
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification - Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
- Experience working in a day nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Confidence supporting colleagues and leading practice within a room
- Clear understanding of safeguarding and welfare requirements
