Full Job Description
- Leading the pre-school room and ensuring high-quality care and education
- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with EYFS
- Supporting children's development, independence, and school readiness
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Monitoring and tracking children's progress
- Supporting and guiding team members within the room
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently met
Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential - Proven experience as a Room Leader - essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing, caring approach to childcare
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a team
- Strong communication skills when working with families and colleagues
- Passion for supporting children's development and school readiness
